More Than Cake.
A Story Baked One Layer at a Time.
Wolfie’s Cakes began with a simple idea: create cakes that are beautiful, memorable, and worth gathering around.
Signature Vanilla
For decades, I baked other people’s recipes.
I loved the craft, but I had never created a cake that felt completely my own — a cake that captured everything I believed a cake should be.
Then my mom told me she was getting married.
She didn’t want to spend several hundred dollars on a traditional wedding cake, but this wasn’t just any wedding. After more than 40 years, she was marrying her high school sweetheart.
To me, this was the wedding of a lifetime, and I wanted to give her something unforgettable.
She asked me for a white cake.
Not just any white cake.
I wanted to create a cake strong enough to stand three tiers tall, but soft and tender enough that every bite felt like eating a cloud — with a vanilla flavor unmistakable from the very first taste.
So I tested. I adjusted. I refined.
I searched for the balance between strength and tenderness, between elegance and comfort.
That cake became Signature Vanilla.
Also known as Mom’s Wedding Cake.
Built From the Inside Out
Respect the Ingredients
Butter, chocolate, fruit, spice, cream, and sugar all have a purpose. Great cakes let those flavors shine.
Flavor Comes First
A cake should taste as good as it looks — balanced, memorable, and worth another slice.
Simple Can Be Beautiful
Elegant finishes create room for the cake itself to become the centerpiece.
Recipes With Meaning
Some cakes become more than recipes. They become memories.
